Florida weather, as we all know, can be quite fickle. We only had to reschedule once to end up with a beautiful warm and sunny day. There was an occasional Northeast breeze that helped keep us cool, so thankful for those coastal breezes. Terry and Brandon chose McKee Botanical Gardens for their engagement session. They loved the beauty and diversity of the gardens. I could have shot all afternoon, but we headed over to the beach with their pup Cooper once we finished up at the gardens.
If you know me, you know I love College Football. I mean really love it! So it is not surprising that is commonly one of my first “let me get to know you” questions. Terry and Brandon are college football fans, and like my husband and myself, a house divided. I assured them their marriage will survive football season, although it can get a little tense at times. My husband and I are entering our 20th year of football season as a couple. Wow! So hard to believe! So, my advice to you guys (or any couple for that matter) is relish the wins when you get them because I assure you over the years you will win some and undoubtedly lose some. Through it all, just agree you both love football and look forward to the next season;)
Cooper was a lot of fun. He doesn’t really fetch and retrieve. He fetches, but you are not getting the ball back. Well, unless you give him another one to replace it, and he may try to hold both at the same time! He was very photogenic and very good for me while I was photographing him.
Thank you Terry and Brandon for trusting me with photographing your wedding day, I am looking forward to it! The next few months will fly by and it will be here before you know it! Hugs~ Krista
