I have been pretty busy around here, but I did not want to neglect sharing this sweet couple’s engagement session. This beautiful bride to be (and also my niece) holds a special place in our hearts. I am so happy for her and can not wait to capture their wedding next April.
Growing up in Central Florida, I am used to pastures filled with large moss draped oaks, towering pine trees, and fields of broomsedge. They decided to have their session at Lake Kississimmee State Park and I am so glad they did! We do not have many areas like this in South Florida, so I was so happy they chose this location. It reminds me of home, or at least what home used to be like, before all of the growth and development.
We could not have asked for better weather. My husband, and our girls along with his brother in law (Megan’s dad) tooled around the lake while I photographed their session. I could have shot for hours! These two were great! Check them out for your self!
Yeah, this light and those fields!
Megan’s ring was her grandmother’s, so it has extra sentimentality.
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance

Because she is all country!
Thank you Megan and Cory for allowing me to capture such a special time. I am so happy for you both and can not wait to capture your wedding day next April. This year will fly by, enjoy the journey! Much Love~Krista
