In Florida, on location photography can sometimes be a challenge.  The weather can change in an instant.  And, when photographing clients who are here vacationing, it is a real challenge.  We have a limited window to shoot our session, regardless of weather.  We were fortunate that this day was beautiful, but really windy.  It is a risk you run with beach sessions, but I will take it over rain any day.

I love meeting people from all over the country. It is really rather cool.  I get to not only take part in documenting family memories, but as in this case, do it in a place that holds special meaning to them.  I did not realize so many people continue to vacation to places that they did as kids.  It is like their second home.  Anyway, check out this sweet family of four and their Bathtub Beach Lifestyle Session.

This is probably my favorite family shot.  It is candid, real and fun!

This little guy would have completely jumped in I think.

Who needs a microphone when you have seashells like this!

She took a little while to warm up.  Still wouldn’t leave momma’s side, which was ok.  We can’t wait for our kids  to be independent and grow up…….until they do.  And then we pray and wish they were stuck to our side again.  Yeah, I am there:((But what a cutie pie!

Some funny faces with dad is always good for some laughs.

This guy was on a mission for treasure.  Seaglass…..seashells, any reason to dig!  There were so many shells, even more than usual.  I think the recent storms had a hand in it.

It was hard to open his hands to show us his shells while holding on so tightly to them. He was having a blast.

Someone got a little camera shy again.  But, no worries.  We just rolled with it and she opened right back up again.See what I mean?

I mean seriously?  How adorable is she?
